Our Toddlers room caters for 12 children aged from 2 to 3 years. We have 3 fully qualified Early Childhood Educators providing quality education and care to the children in this group.

Our Toddler room routine is the following:

7.00am Outside play. Sunscreen and mozzie spray applied on arrival.

8.50am The children hang up their hats and wash hands for morning tea.

9.00am Morning Tea. Children are encouraged to feed themselves and return own cups and plates to serving table when done.

9.30am Toileting. Inside play. Art activities. One on one activities with Lead Educator.

10.30am Pack up time, singing the pack up song. Toileting. Then sit on outside mat, for group time. Identifying and saying good morning to our friends, singing, reading books, counting etc.

10.40am (Approx) Outside play, then handwashing for lunch.

11.00am Lunch. The children are encouraged to feed themselves, and bring their cup and plates to serving table when done.

11.30am Toileting. Children wait on beds looking at bed boxes until toileting is finished. Then rest time.
Toileting as soon as the child wakes.

2.00pm (Approx) Afternoon tea.

2.30pm Outside Play. Sunscreen and mozzie spray applied.

3.00pm Toileting if needed.

3.45pm All nappy changes.

4.00pm Pack up yard. Toileting.

4.30pm Late afternoon tea. Depending on numbers and children's preference, inside or outside play, until pick up.

(This routine is flexible and can change at any time to suit the wants or needs of the children)

Families will need to provide underwear/pull ups, wipes, several changes of clothes, a set of cot sheets (each child will receive a free sheet bag upon enrolment), any form of comforter and any nappy creams or teething gels. If your child requires medication whilst in care (including Panadol or Nurofen) it will need to have a label on it from the pharmacy with your child's full name and the dosage required..
