Our Kookaburra experience began in 2009 when our eldest child was lucky enough to secure a place. At that time we had visited many other long day care services and felt that Kookaburra was the best fit for our family.
The outdoor areas were a major draw card for us. The yards are very natural with many trees, play equipment, a dry creek bed, a boat, bridges, forts and swings which provide a very stimulating environment for children. Our second child, who is currently attending (Kookaburra), loves the gardening program. The fact that Kookaburra provides all meals is very conveinient. The meals and snacks are all healthy and nutritious and seem to be enjoyed by most children.
The longevity of the Educators is another thing that sets Kookaburra apart from other Long Day Care Centres. In an industry where staff turnover is very high, Kookaburra has been able to retain wonderful staff for many years. This means the educators get to know the families very well to the point where some feel more like extended family members than child care workers.
We are happy to recommend Kookaburra to anyone looking for quality education and care for their young children. |
